Industry award honors women who make a positive impact in their field.
Christie McFall
Christie McFall, vice president and managing director of dvm360-the No. 1 multimedia platform serving the veterinary industry-was recently recognized as a 2019 Folio: Top Women in Media honoree in the Change-makers category. The award will be given at a luncheon June 7 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.
“We are so proud of Christie,” says Tom Ehardt, president of MultiMedia Healthcare, dvm360's parent company. “As a leader, she helps her team members stretch their thinking and develop distinctive, market-leading, brand and audience experiences.”
McFall joined dvm360 as vice president and managing director in 2017. Before that she served as managing director at VML, a global marketing agency, and director of digital marketing at Meredith Corp. She graduated from the University of Iowa.
In her role at dvm360, McFall pulled three regional continuing education events into the dvm360 brand family, giving them the opportunity to leverage the top media brand in the market. She supported her team in building event positioning around four key pillars of attendee experience: Nurture, Inspire, Connect and Equip-and in leveraging adult learning principles to build a more valuable, more engaging educational experience for veterinary professionals. “We're truly changing the way continuing education is delivered in the veterinary market,” McFall says.
Marnette Falley, executive creative director for dvm360, was honored as a Folio: Top Women in Media last year, also in the Change-maker category.
Folio: Top Women in Media celebrates women in the media industry who have stood out, taken risks and pushed their teams to new heights. The women recognized are honored in six categories: Change-makers, corporate champions, entrepreneurs, industry trailblazers, up-and-comers and motivators. The change-makers category recognizes women who have positively altered the course of their brands or industry.
