IDEXX introduces VetStat Electrolyte and Blood Gas Analyzer, the first in-house blood gas analyzer modified specifically for veterinarians. The diagnostic tool will help practitioners analyze blood gases, ionized calcium, anion gap and electrolytes.
VetStat cassettes are designed to allow DVMs and technicians to quickly select the appropriate diagnostics needed for assessing fluid-therapy choices, determining acid-based balance, measuring respiratory function, ionized calcium and electrolytes. The analyzer is validated for canine, feline and equine testing.
The portable blood gas analyzer runs single-use disposable cassettes for whole-blood, serum or plasma samples. The product's touch screen has veterinary specific options and animal reference ranges.
