Portland, Ore. -- Banfield announced in September that it sold its Merlin Digital Technology branch to Eklin Medical Systems Inc. and has entered into a partnership with Eklin to develop digital imaging equipment for Banfield hospitals.

-- Banfield announced in September that it sold its Merlin Digital Technology branch to Eklin Medical Systems Inc. and has entered into a partnership with Eklin to develop digital imaging equipment specifically for Banfield hospitals.
Eklin now offers direct imaging sensor tools for large animal extremities, large dogs and small cats. The deal also is expected to help develop new digital X-ray technology for use in private veterinary practices.
