Washington D.C.
-- The EPA will discuss its findings from a five-year study of flea and tick products Wednesday during a free, public Webinar, titled “Evaluation of Pet Spot-on Flea and Tick Products and Next Steps.”
The agency will present an overview of its evaluation of the products and its plans to further protect pets. Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions, which EPA presenters will address as time allows.
The EPA announced last April that it would increase the scrutiny of flea and tick products after an increased rate in the number of adverse effects.
