The Ag-Tek division of Kane Enterprises, Inc., introduces the FuturaPad, a revolutionary development in the blocking of lame cattle, the company says. Designed for use by veterinarians and hoof care professionals, the FuturaPad provides a fast, easy and safe method of treating lameness in dairy and beef cattle, the company adds. Directions: Apply the single component adhesive onto the reactive pad, then press the block firmly onto the hoof for 15 seconds to 30 seconds. A great advantage of the FuturaPad is that this fast set-up time is unaffected by temperature, the company says. The FuturaPad is available in kits containing two or 10 applications.
