According to the National Animal Health MonitoringSystem, 96 percent of operations may be affected by ileitis in the UnitedStates. In addition, pneumonia and ileitis combined to account for morethan 52 percent of growth finish death losses resulting in millions of dollarsin economic loss.
Producers no longer have to choose which disease to control, the companysays. They now have the ability to treat respiratory disease and controlileitis with a single program with BMD plus Aureomycin, the company says.
