The pen is compatible with the AccuVet™ incisional Laser Handpiece (and similar handpieces). LaseAdapt attaches to the laser pen to efficiently capture the smoke plume generated at the surgical site.
The product eliminates the need for the surgeon to have personnel hold smoke evacuation tubing at the surgical site, freeing an extra set of hands, the company says.
LaseAdapt can be used with most smoke evacuation systems and filtered wall suction. The product's packaging is designed to minimize the hassle of assembly in the surgical field.
