IDEXX Laboratories introduces its VetLab® Station laboratory information management system (LIMS). The new computer offers an unprecedented level of information management for customers of the IDEXX VetLab system of in-house analyzers. The product will be shipped with all LaserCyte® analyzers ordered in North America starting in January.
The IDEXX VetLab Station LIMS enables veterinarians to integrate data generated by in-house diagnostic instruments to care for patients on a higher level, the company reports. With virtually unlimited data storage for patient records and results, the station gives veterinary professionals more information on each patient at the point of care. Featuring a new, more powerful computer and a larger 10.4-in. touchscreen, parameter-trending capabilities, interpretive summaries and on-screen training guides, the IDEXX VetLab Station with the LaserCyte analyzer provides unparalleled analytical, reporting and medical reference capability, the company adds.
