The full walking cast spans from the upper cannon bone to the bottom edge of the hoof.

A rigid section of unbreakable plastic is enclosed and sewn into a protective neoprene sheath, the company says. It is attached to the limb by stretchable neoprene straps with hook-and-loop fasteners.

It can be easily removed, the company adds, and is machine washable.

The product is also available in a lower leg brace that comes without the attachment straps. The brace is held in place by a conventional bandage.
