Merial announces the launch of the Recombitek C3 canine vaccine, a new canine product approved to protect against distemper, parvovirus and adenovirus-2. The new product combination, along with Merials Imrab rabies vaccine, rounds out the American Animal Hospital Associations guidelines for core vaccines, the company says. As veterinary professionals consider their vaccine protocols, Merial continues to support their needs by providing alternative vaccines developed with the latest technology, says Zack Mills, executive director of Veterinary Services. Merials Recombitek C3 offers effective protection without adjuvants, while corresponding to AAHAs core canine vaccine recommendations.Merials Recombitek family of canine vaccines has been developed with recombinant technology, which involves genetic splicing to provide for more targeted protection, the company says.
