DULUTH, GA.-Merial announces the launch of the Recombitek C3® canine vaccine, a new canine product approved to protect against distemper, parvovirus and adenovirus-2.
The new product combination, along with Merial's Imrab® rabies vaccine, rounds out the American Animal Hospital Association's guidelines for core vaccines, the company says.
"As veterinary professionals consider their vaccine protocols, Merial continues to support their needs by providing alternative vaccines developed with the latest technology," says Zack Mills, Merial's executive director of Veterinary Services. "Merial's Recombitek® C3 offers effective protection without adjuvants, while corresponding to AAHA's core canine vaccine recommendations."
Merial's Recombitek® family of canine vaccines has been developed with recombinant technology, which involves genetic splicing to provide for more targeted protection, the company says.
Recombitek® C3 is available as a single dose in 25 x 1 packaging.
