Leica Microsystems introduces the DM13000 B digital inverted research microscope and the DMI4000 B, which allows micromanipulation to advance live cell fluorescence imaging.

The Leica DM13000 B is a platform tailored for micromanipulation. The DM14000 B provides a flexible and modular platform for adding automation based on experimental needs, the company says.

The ergonomic design is used throughout to ensure comfortable operation during long periods of time.

The manually operated components are encoded so the microscope can guide the user to proper operation.

Improved optics and reduced straight light make the microscopes achieve brilliant fluorescence, the company adds.
