New joint supplement for dogs launched

Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Supplements has released Joint Care, a soft chew supplement supporting mobility, healthy cartilage, and joints in dogs and puppies of all breeds and sizes. It addresses the importance of proactive joint support and is formulated to support normal daily activity and performance walking, climbing, and general movements in dogs.

Joint Care was developed by Purina researchers and veterinarians over 2 and a half years. It includes collagen, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, and chondroitin sulfate to help maintain healthy cartilage and joints, plus omega-3 fatty acids to support a normal inflammatory response in joints from natural aging.

Joint Care is suggested for dogs predisposed to joint disease. It’s recommended for daily use and is available in a 30-count small size chew and a 30-count large chew size.

Along with a joint supplement, other methods for supporting pet mobility and well-being Lobos outlined include¹ maintaining ideal body conditions, keeping muscles engaged, offering steps or a ramp, and feeding a healthy diet.
