-- A new $18,000 veterinary pharmacology grant is available from two veterinary foundations.
The newly formed Veterinary Pharmacology Research Foundation (VPRF) and the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Foundation (ACVMIF) have partnered to form the grant for research project devoted to veterinary pharmacology.
The groups are seeking proposals that focus on research to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of therapies for veterinary species, explore new drug therapies for animals, develop and validate models of animal diseases or conditions, or ensure that a safe food supply is not compromised by drug therapy.
Anyone interested in applying for the grant must submit proposals by Jan. 22, 2010. More information is available here.
