-- A two-page document offering guidance on avoiding the spread of influenza was developed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and now is available on OSHA’s Web site.
The fact sheet, “Influenza in Workers and Pigs: Guidance for Commercial Swine Farmers and Pork Producers,” addresses issues such as identifying symptoms in humans and animals, and offers tips to prevent the spread of influenza viruses like H1N1.
The document can be downloaded at www.osha.gov.
