The product offers 27-percent greater magnification and 35-percent greater field of view than traditional otoscopes, the company says.
The MacroView Veterinary Otoscope provides a nearly full view of the tympanic membrane.
It also features a Tip Grip for secure fastening and easy removal of ear specula as well as adjustable focus for variable ear-canal lengths, allowing veterinarians to more effectively diagnose and treat a variety of animals.
The new scope comes equipped with a built-in throat illuminator that conveniently works with all existing Welch Allyn 3.5V-power sources.
