The Pain Gauge® is a high-quality compact computerized device developed to assist veterinarians and pet owners with an easy-to-use, objective tool for routinely assessing pain and stress levels in animals. The device uses well-known and researched electrodermal activity, often called galvanic skin response, to calculate an animal's level of pain and stress.
The Pain Gauge® provides veterinary practices with a new revenue-generating source, the company says, suggesting the "simple-to-use" devices can be rented to pet owners on a per week basis.
