Prof leaving OSU to join Rood and Riddle
Columbus, Ohio - Dr. Stephen Reed, Bud and Marilyn Jenne Professor in Equine Clinical Sciences and Research, announced his retirement from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine after 25 years.
COLUMBUS, OHIO — Dr. Stephen Reed, Bud and Marilyn Jenne Professor in Equine Clinical Sciences and Research, announced his retirement from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine after 25 years.
He will join the Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Ky., at the end of this year, according to the university.
"We've (at Ohio State) wanted to have stronger collaborations with Rood and Riddle and this is a chance to work together and put a program in place," Reed said in a news release. "Many veterinarians on staff at Rood and Riddle graduated and trained at Ohio State. To have the chance to work with other practitioners, some of whom I've known for 30 years, was really attractive."
