San Antonio, Texas
-- PurinaCare Insurance Services, Inc. is now available in 41 of the 50 states after recently adding California to its roster.
The only states that PurinaCare is not available are: Alaska, Florida, Louisiana, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Hawaii, Montana, Oklahoma and Washington. The pet insurance plan also is not available in Washington, D.C.
PurinaCare is working toward securing all of those locations as soon as possible.
PurinaCare offers two plans designed to help dog and cat owners take advantage of the latest advances in veterinary medicine with less worry about the financial implications, according to the company's website.
The first plan option, PurinaCare(R) plus Preventive Care, covers eligible accidents and illnesses for pets as well as routine expenses like annual exams, eligible vaccinations, flea and heartworm control, and dental scaling/polishing.
The PurinaCare without Preventive Care plan insures dogs or cats against the unexpected. It covers treatment of eligible accidents and illness, including those arising from hereditary conditions.
PurinaCare Insurances Services, Inc. is one of only two U.S. companies to receive the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Seal of Acceptance for its high-deductible policies.
