AFP Imaging introduces the Ultima VCTM 6000 Veterinary Radiographic Systemfeaturing the only vertical ceiling tubemont (VCTM) on the market. Otherfeatures include the "Smart Touch" anatomical collimation system(ADCS) and a powerlift, four-way floating top table (model 6000). The smarttouch control calculates exposure factors based on the anatomical region.These factors may be customized and stored in memory by the user, the companysays.

Manual selection of kVp and mAs is included. Automatic exposure compensationis available as an option. The ADCS uses a laser to show the exact centerline of the X-ray beam perpendicular to the long axis of the table, thecompany says. It is equipped to accept large and small aperture plates andan extension cone for spot dental radiography. The 6000 table features apowerlift float-top table capable of lifting animals 500 pounds from 21to 35 inches. The table measures 72 inches by 32 inches and moves 28 inchesleft to right and 8 inches front to rear.
