The new, six-dose box makes it more convenient to choose any combination of six small or large capsule doses that best meets requirements in a small animal practice.BIPS are inert, white, low density, radiopaque spheres (5 mm and 1.5 mm) that show up clearly on abdominal X-rays. The company says they are a safe alternative form of diagnosis to help private practitioners detect physical obstructions, functional obstructions, delayed gastric emptying and intestinal motility disorders reducing the need for exploratory surgery.Each dose is sealed in kraft-paper packets for added convenience, product protection and easier dispensing. The recommended dosage remains the samea set of four small capsules (collectively containing 10 large and 30 small spheres) for cats and small dogs; or one large capsule (containing the same number of spheres) for administering to large dogs or to break open and disperse in food.
