Derungs Medical Lighting introduces the DL-122 hand-held ring magnifier developed specifically for dermatologists. The DL-122 is part of Derungs' line of medical task lighting for examination and procedures, and indirect/direct wall lighting for healthcare environments.
The DL-122 is a portable, ring-shaped magnifying light that facilitates visual assessment during diagnosis. The 22-watt ring lamp emits a 5300 K color temperature, which corresponds to the spectrum of natural, average daylight. This enables the magnifier to brightly and uniformly illuminate the examined area and aids in easily diagnosing normal or diseased skin.
The 4.5-inch diameter, 4-diopter biconvex magnifier lens enlarges the examined area to two times its original size, and the 11¼4-inch bubble lens magnifies the viewed area four times for close-up evaluation. An electronic ballast for flicker-free illumination and increased energy efficiency is available.
