The SurgiClose⢠stapler handle and skin staples will reduce incision closing time by 90 percent over suturing, the company says. The SurgiClose⢠system consists of a re-sterilizable stapler handle that is used with 20 staple cartridges. Just simply load a sterile cartridge into the handle before every use. SurgiClose⢠staples are cost-effective, priced below a package of suture, the company says. The SurgiClose⢠staple width of 5.75 mm is ideal for all animal wound closures and assures approximation of wound edges.
