Tend Skin Co. introduces Vet Skin, a topical treatment used to correct skin conditions in animals. The active ingredient in Vet Skin is aspirin in high concentration, which serves as a balm to irritated skin and discourages insect infestation, infection, ingrown hair, fungus and warts, the company says. The product is a clear liquid with the texture of an astringent and works best when used at least two times a day until the problem is alleviated, the company says. Vet Skin should not be used on cats or pregnant animals, the company adds.
