SpectraSoft Inc. announces the release of Appointware, appointment softwarefor veterinary practices.

Appointware is suited to an office with one to five veterinarians or veterinarytechnicians. It accommodates two concurrent users and delivers practicalfunctionality, the company says.

Appointware allows users to customize field labels to suit the practice,designate different appointment intervals for each resource (veterinarian,room or service), make, move and change appointments, set multiple and recurringappointments quickly, double book appointments and block times, the companysays. Users can also enter and view important notes on the appointment screen,print office schedules, produce individual appointment reminders, trackpatient status and run practice management reports.

Appointware is patterned after SpectraSoft's AppointmentsPRO, the widelyacclaimed "Best of Breed" front office management software solutionfor the healthcare industry. Operating in a Windows environment, it usesfamiliar technology to present the user with the look and feel of a traditionalappointment book.
