DVM Newsmagazine nets a national business journalism award.
New York - dvm360.com netted a national Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Award last week in New York for Best Web Site. The Jesse H. Neal awards are considered the Pulitzer Prize of business-to-business media. DVM Newsmagazine also won a Neal Award for Best Single Issue of a Tabloid/Newspaper for its July 2009 publication.
The Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards is sponsored by New York-based American Business Media, a national organization representing business-to-business media companies. The awards drew 700 entries in 20 categories and were created to recognize editorial excellence by independent business publications.
The dvm360 content group had two additional finalists for awards. DVM Newsmagazine Editor Daniel R. Verdon and Veterinary Economics Editor Kristi Reimer accepted the awards on behalf of their editorial teams.
