Texas Veterinary Specialty and 24-Hour Emergency Center is highlighted for its dedication to providing a stress-free space for patients

Heart of Texas Veterinary Specialty and 24-Hour Emergency Center in Round Rock, Texas, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, announced that it has become the first emergency and specialty hospital to earn Fear Free Veterinary Practice Certification. The Fear Free Practice Certification is a highlight of the hospital’s work in creating a stress-free environment for pets during a medical emergency, supporting pet owners whose pets are sick, and assisting the team working in an emotionally charged setting.

According to the release,1 the team at Heart of Texas went through training, showing crucial improvements in client retention, visit frequency, and care quality within the center.

They have also implemented the Fear Free philosophy take place within waiting rooms, examination rooms, and more to ensure all their patients receive the care they need while also providing an easier experience and safety for the staff.
