Jason Wernli, president at AllyDVM: We find that in about 1 in every 4 appointments that an animal hospital sees, there is an opportunity to schedule 1 more appointment just because there is a pet that doesn't have reminders setup. One more appointment we can schedule, based on the 4 people that are seeing us in the next hour, that adds up. Can we just get 2 more appointments every day because we ask about those other pets? For most practices, that's a 6-figure difference of incremental revenue, without doing any outbound calls. This is just talking with the people who are already there in front of your face.
