Three Dog Bakery unveils second Houston location

Three Dog Bakery in The Heights district of Houston, Texas opened this past Saturday December 17th, 2022. The shop features dog-friendly baked cakes, cookies, “Pupcakes,” and treats plus dog food, toys, and additional supplies.

“We’re beyond excited to open our second bakery in Houston! Expanding to The Heights was any easy decision for us as it has everything we seek: large residential neighborhoods, a density of diverse businesses, a strong community identity, and dogs, so many dogs!” stated bakery co-owner Carin Giga, in a company release.¹ “We look forward to building relationships with our customers here as we have enjoyed for four years and counting in Rice Village.”

The company’s renowned packaged items can be found at the location including the Lick’n Crunch! Sandwich Cookies and the Assort“Mutt” Trio of treats. Fun seasonal items are available and unique specialty cakes can be customized for any occasion.

In 2018, Three Dog Bakery debuted its first location in Rice Village. Since then, Houston franchise owners Carin Giga and Sara Saber have seen the community support the various dog treats crafted from all-natural, dog-friendly ingredients while enjoying the bakery's aroma and the decorating artistry of the team. Giga and Saber aimed to offer this experience to The Heights, a section of historic neighborhoods northwest of Houston that dates to the late 1800s.

In honor of its grand opening, Three Dog Bakery is planning a Grand Opening celebration for late February.
