Veterinary Product Laboratories (VPL) has introduced an easier way to apply Tissuemend⢠II, a synthetic, absorbable surgical tissue adhesive available to veterinarians.
The reusable Tissuemend⢠II Microdose syringe fits the Tissuemend II pipette and gives veterinary surgeons more control over the delivery of the tissue adhesive.
Tissuemend II is a methoxypropyl cyanoacrylate that makes it absorbable via hydrolysis in 60-90 days. Packaged under dry nitrogen for increased stability and shelf life, it is tissue friendly and forms a strong bond between most tissue surfaces within 10 seconds.
This product is ideal for surgical procedures such as cat declaws, skin closures, paw and pad cuts, small lacerations, tail docks, dewclaw removals and final closure to laser surgical procedures.
The adhesive is supplied in individual pre-filled pipettes (0.2 ml) and packaged in 20 pipettes per box.
