Pfizer Animal Health introduces the Equimax Vet Pack. The product is designed specifically for equine practitioners to make field work more efficient.
The Vet Pack contains 72 individual syringes packed in one box with removable partitions. The number of syringes needed can be removed to administer Equimax quickly without wasted packaging, the company says.
The product offers value to practitioners because of lower packaging costs, the company adds.
Equimax is apple-flavored and comes in a specially designed ergonomic syringe that contains enough paste to dose up to 1,320 pounds of body weight. The syringe has a sturdy, lockable dose adjuster with large-print dosing scales on both sides, the company says.
