Zoetis, AAVMC looking at a variety of eligibility criteria for second- and third-year student recipients.
Zoetis and the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) are calling for second- and third-year veterinary students to apply for the 2015 Zoetis Veterinary Student Scholarship Program, according to a company release. Scholarships are $2,000 each and interested students can apply through the VetVance portal. Applications will be accepted until Nov. 30.
Criteria for eligibility include academic excellence, financial need, sustainability, leadership and career path, according to the release. All areas of professional interest will be considered for the award. The AAVMC will provide a list of candidates to the colleges for review before final awardees are announced in March 2015.
