Vetoquinol USA is owned by Vetoquinol S.A., a family-owned firm founded in 1933 in Lure, France. The company, which is involved in research, development, production and marketing of pet wellness products, focuses on three main areas of treatment; anti-infectives, anti-inflammatories and cardio-nephrological.
The firm celebrated its 75th anniversary last year."As Vetoquinol proceeds into its 76th year, ... we are as dedicated as ever to excellence in pet wellness," says Manny Martinez, managing director.
At the ribbon cutting, the company donated products from its Vetoquinol and Tomlyn lines to local animal shelters, including Operation Kindness, the Humane Society of North Texas and the DFW Humane Society.
It also donated to other animal clinics, including Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, D.C.; Adobe Veterinary Hospital in California; Coral Springs Animal Hospital in Florida and Hillside Veterinary Clinic in Texas.
Vetoquinol USA has about 35 employees in Fort Worth and about 75 nationwide. The company distributes products in 100 countries in Europe, North America and Asia, with subsidiaries in 22 countries and more than 1,400 employees worldwide.
