Vetsource to launch new payment processing service

Vetsource, a pet health company that offers innovative pharmacy, technology, and business services to those who care for pets, has unveiled a new payment processing service. This marks the newest addition to Vetsource's collection of veterinary solutions, which also includes prescription management, client engagement, and data services.

According to a company release,¹ Vetsource obtained accreditation to be a payment facilitator, so it can offer competitive rates by removing hidden fees, often associated with processing payments, from unnecessary third parties. This eliminates transaction stress and brings value to veterinary practices.

The new payment processing platform will enable veterinary practices to provide modern, convenient, and flexible payment methods the veterinary field didn’t have until now. Through the solution, clients can pay in the way that best meets their needs, and it streamlines the collection of payments and end-of-day reconciliation, resulting in fewer errors, and ultimately saving the practice hours of administrative time each week.
