Webster Veterinary Supply changes name to Patterson
Webster was acquired by Patterson Companies in 2001.
Webster Veterinary Supply Inc., purveyor of veterinary supplies, equipment and pharmaceuticals, has changed its name to Patterson Veterinary Supply Inc. Webster was acquired by Patterson Companies in 2001 and is one of three business units within the organization.
“We are very excited to be known as Patterson Veterinary Supply,” said Patterson President George Henriques in a company release. “The ability to further leverage the significant resources and support of Patterson Companies will help us bring more innovative products, services and business solutions to veterinarians, their staffs and their clients. We plan to be an even stronger partner in helping veterinary practices build on their success.”
The name change will also usher in the launch of a new website, pattersonvet.com, which promises enhanced online ordering and upgraded features. Business headquarters will remain in Devens, Mass. Phone numbers, customer account numbers and customers’ sales representatives will remain the same.
