Cheyenne, Wyo.
-- The Wyoming state veterinarian and assistant state veterinarian will switch roles after the reversal was approved by the Wyoming Livestock Board June 19.
Former State Veterinarian Dr. Walter Cook requested the reassignment due to a demanding travel schedule and his desire to spend more time at home, according to the livestock board. He will switch roles with Dr. Jim Logan, and assume Logan's role as assistant state veterinarian.
Cook will work out of the Cheyenne office, Logan out of the Riverton office. Board approval of the role reversal came after Logan's statement that he was comfortable with the switch and could handle the travel schedule.
