Combining fluoroscopy and X-ray eliminates the space required for traditional units. Sedecal's Vet-Ray Fluoroscopy system can be retrofitted to any of the company's tabletop X-ray units.
The basis for the combination system is the Vet-Ray Standard Vet X-ray system with a 40kW generator, 18mA stations (10-500mA), anatomical programming, four-way float top table and 0.6/1.5 fractional focal spot tube with 200,000 HU as standard, the company says. Added to the X-ray system is a 9-inch image intensifier with 4.5-, 6- and 9-inch fields of view featuring last image hold, automatic brightness control, mobile cart with fluoro monitor, control box and exposure foot switch, the company adds.
