Correct. It would definitely be prudent to stop the NSAIDs for now since we know these may negatively impact the liver. However, that alone may not be enough, so we recommend further work-up with the abdominal ultrasonographic examination. We are looking for any obvious masses or lesions or any parenchymal changes that look worrisome with the understanding that an aspirate or, ideally, a biopsy may be required for a definitive answer.
