Free webinar: How to balance home and work life in veterinary medicine

Event

This 1-hour event is a must for veterinary technicians, managers, and veterinarians, especially working mothers in the profession.

During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, many employees transitioned from working in the office to working remotely. Because you are essential workers, most veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff weren’t able to make that switch. With virtual schooling and constantly evolving laws and regulations, balancing work and home life is more challenging than ever.

It’s not too late to register for a 1-hour webinar that will give you some insight on how others are handling home and work life during these unprecedented times. The webinar will feature a panel discussion among 3 working mothers, Tannetje Crocker, DVM, Ashley Bourgeois, DVM, DACVD, and Jackie Dueñas, DVM, who will share their strategies for coping with this “new” normal. Moderated by human resources expert David Liss, MBA, RVT, VTS (ECC, SAIM), CVPM, PHR, CCFP, the panel will offer insight on how they “keep it together,” plus Liss will advise participants struggling with the same or similar issues.

During this RACE-approved free webinar, presented by dvm360® and sponsored by Nationwide, attendees will:

  • Hear from 3 industry experts about the real-life struggles of balancing home and work life during COVID-19.
  • Learn the laws and regulations surrounding family and childcare during the pandemic (and beyond).
  • Receive strategies to help balance work and family life during the pandemic crisis.
