hound—a veterinary software company aimed at helping veterinary professionals find employees or veterinary professionals find job opportunities—has officially rolled out it's new recruiting and job search platform.
According to a company release, the new software is designed for job-seeking veterinary professionals and clinics looking to hire. What's more, the company has employed a team of 10 veterinary consolidators to help enhance the job search and recruitment experience.
“We look forward to empowering employers of all shapes and sizes to build a better, brighter future in [veterinary medicine] together,” said Austin Huff, hound cofounder and head of growth, in the release. “We’re experience-obsessed, and we’re excited to continuously improve and expand our offerings to meet the needs of vet med.”
hound comes with a few complimentary perks such as dream vacation giveaways, cash rewards, positivity packs, and unlimited custom profiles, users, job posts, and applications. With over a decade of intimate industry expertise, Andrew Luna, CEO and founder of hound, is committed to nurturing a healthier culture and experience in veterinary medicine by adopting a people-first approach. After enduring the loss of a friend he worked with to suicide in vet med, Luna ensures that the hound team remains dedicated and does not take their work lightly.
“My best friends, family members, and closest colleagues all work in this profession. I’ve given a decade of my life to vet med, and I love it. But some things are undeniably broken. Look around or read any current research and you’ll see, our people are hurting and employers are struggling. hound is building the solutions you need, and we’re doing it with you. There are some amazing employers already prioritizing culture and experience (many are hiring on hound),” Luna disclosed in the release.
“But even the best employers need better tools, and the impact of these thought leader employers is sadly limited only to the people they employ. We’re bringing solutions to support the awesome people of our industry, and we’ll be solving big problems at scale,” he added.
hound is currently only available in Atlanta, Austin, the Bay Area in California, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, and Portland. However, the company plans to expand the software nationwide come next year.
