The IDEXX 1417 Direct Digital Radiography System becomes available June 30 and provides extraordinary image sharpness in seconds to support faster, more accurate diagnosis.
The full-size 14-in. by 17-in. digital radiography technology plate used in the 1417 system uniquely captures X-rays without the need of a scintillator or intensifier, thereby delivering an enhanced level of image sharpness and clarity, the company reports. Images can be viewed within seconds and can be easily adjusted, annotated, stored, printed and transferred via IDEXX-PACS software, the company's DICOM- conformant with open-communication software used in both DR and CR systems.
