Bridget Rollins, EMBA: Essentially what [dynamic tension] is, is creating an environment where you can basically stress test an idea of thought, a behavior. And so as a leader, what I encourage is to have dynamic tension with your team. [This means that] if I were to tell my team tomorrow, I need you to implement this. The dynamic tension piece would be my team either agreeing or trying to break the idea and finding fault.
