Cheryl DeSantis will assume this role to oversee NVA’s efforts to attract and keep veterinary teams
National Veterinary Associates announced it named Cheryl DeSantis as its new Chief People Officer. With her new role, DeSantis is tasked with overseeing the NVA’s efforts to bring in and keep veterinary teams and will lead the organizational design strategy as the company continues its work on forming 2 distinct businesses, Ethos Veterinary Health (EVH) and NVA General Practice (NVA GP).
“Cheryl’s extensive experience leading transformational change will be crucial as we create a new organization more fully enabling NVA GP and EVH to focus on their distinct strategic growth priorities. Cheryl has direct experience leading medical services and enters NVA with high respect for the clinical care veterinarians and their teams deliver,” said Larry Allgaier, chief executive officer of NVA GP and EVH, in an organizational release.1
According to the release,1 DeSantis brings over 25 years of experience as a human resources leader at multiple pet care and medical companies. She also formerly served as the vice president of people & organization for Mars’ Petcare Division.
