NY veterinarians can now order office-use compounds from registered outsourcing facility
Wedgewood Connect has received a license to offer veterinarians office-use compounds in New York

The New York State regulatory authorities have issued a license to Wedgewood Connect, allowing them to offer compounded medications for office use to veterinarians in New York.
“Our ability to offer preparations from both a 503B outsourcing facility and our traditional state-regulated pharmacies will give our customers in New York a broader range of options designed to meet their specific needs. Veterinarians can order the compounds through Wedgewood Connect, the FDA-registered 503(B) outsourcing facility owned by Wedgewood Pharmacy. According to an organizational release,1 medications compounds could be dispensed on a patient-specific basis through Wedgewood Pharmacy state-licensed pharmacies.
“Veterinary practices, clinics, and animal hospitals need medications on hand for immediate use to treat urgent issues and emergencies.
