Patterson Veterinary partners with Sea Turtle Conservancy to raise money in recognition of World Sea Turtle Day this year
In honor of World Sea Turtle Day on June 16, 2022, Patterson Veterinary Supply has announced in a company release1 its partnership with the world’s first and oldest sea turtle rescue nonprofit, Sea Turtle Conservancy. With this partnership, Patterson Veterinary hopes to support the conservancy’s mission of ensuring the survival of sea turtles around the globe.
To raise money for this day, Patterson Veterinary is offering the opportunity for any practice that purchases NaVetor cloud practice management software, they will have a sea turtle adopted in their name and a donation on their behalf. Patterson Veterinary hopes to raise at least $10,000 for the Sea Turtle Conservancy.
“Patterson has always been committed to veterinary professionals, and we are thankful for their commitment to help our organization’s cause,” David Godfrey, Sea Turtle Conservancy executive director, stated in the release. “The result of this donation will help in saving the lives of even more turtles, which is always our number one goal.”1
Established in 2018, NaVetor was designed to balance advanced features with user-friendly software to help veterinary practices best manage their business. The development of NaVetor was created to help veterinary practices organize their day, manage patient workflows, and save time with a host of integrations.1
“With June 16th being World Sea Turtle Day, this seemed like the right time to connect our customers with an organization that is doing important work protecting our Marine Ecosystem,” said George Henriques, Patterson president of companion animal, in the release.
“Making a difference is always the top priority for us,” adds Ali Hashmat, chief executive officer of NaVetor. “We’re proud of this partnership and to help in the effort of protecting endangered sea turtles.”1
