PetPeople expands delivery capabilities through partnership with OneRail
The company will leverage OneRail’s network of 9 million couriers in 220 US cities to offer same-day delivery for customers who were previously outside of the normal delivery radius.
PetPeople—a pet supply and services retailer—recently announced its partnership with OneRail, a last-mile fulfillment solutions business, to bolster its home delivery capabilities. Through this collaboration, PetPeople will offer 100% guaranteed same-day delivery of pet supplies to more customers across the country.
OneRail offers PetPeople customers several upgrades to the delivery experience, including real-time visibility and connected courier capacity driven by more than 9 million couriers across 220 US cities.
According to a company release, this allows PetPeople to reach new customers with more shipping options
“As a result of this OneRail partnership, we now can welcome even more customers for home delivery by offering new options for people previously outside our delivery radius,” said Glenn Klava, PetPeople Director of Business Development, in the release.
What's more, the partnership also provides quality assurance for PetPeople, which is designed to improve the experience for customers. OneRail provides a real-time score to capture customer feedbac after a delivery is complete. Customers rate their delivery experience and can optionally provide comments.
Additionally, this data is aggregated to rank couriers in real-time, allowing PetPeople to only send the highest-rated couriers for deliveries.
