The Veterinary Virtual Care Association taps this team of nonprofit experts to provide association management services.
Building on its growth strategy, The Veterinary Virtual Care Association (VVCA) announced that it will team up with Management Solutions Plus (MSP) to provide association management services.
According to a company release, MSP will carry out the day-to-day management of VVCA and will be appointing Thérèse Clemens, CAE, as executive director and Jackie King, JD, as strategic advisor.
“Joining the MSP family of organizations is a strategic step forward in our growth as an organization,” said VVCA co-chair Eleanor Green, DVM, past dean of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.
In addition, the current VVCA Executive Director, Ali McIntyre, will transition to a role on the VVCA board. She will continue as treasurer, serve as chair of the finance committee, and provide strategic support during the transition to MSP.
“I’m honored to be joining the board and bringing my expertise and history of this dynamic organization with me to foster the VVCA’s continued growth,” said McIntyre. “With a cadre of powerful nonprofit experts on our team, I am excited to see the impact we can have in the future.”
The goal of the VVCA is to make virtual care part of the standard of care in veterinary medicine by advocating best practices, providing educational resources, and creating a space for a wide alliance of professionals to congregate. In the 2 years since its launch, the VVCA has served as a source of virtual care information and encouragement for the veterinary community.
What's more, the organization has also led 2 industry-wide conferences, developed an interactive regulatory map, hosted data-driven webinars showcasing the success and positive outcomes of teletriage and telemedicine, and built a robust members-only community.
