Chris Sclafani offers the company his leadership and expertise in the healthcare industry

Veritas Veterinary Partners (Veritas)—a network of over 80 leading specialty and emergency veterinary care providers—has appointed Chris Sclafani as its president and chief operating officer. Sclafani will work directly with Veritas CEO Thomas Scavelli, DVM, DACVS, to manage daily business operations, incorporate the company's growth objectives, and extend high-quality veterinary care nationwide.1

Sclafani offers more than 30 years of executive leadership experience and expertise in the healthcare industry. Prior to this, he served as the chief operating officer of the Tri-State Region at Optum, a diversified health services company. Before Optum, he spent over 20 years as the chief operating officer of CareMount Medical, the largest independent multi-specialty medical group in New York. Additionally, Sclafani was a board member of the American Medical Group Association for 8 years and the chairman in 2019.1
