Wedgewood Pharmacy announces merge with Blue Rabbit

Wedgewood Pharmacy announced its merger with Blue Rabbit, a veterinary prescription management and pharmacy solutions company. The merger will provide high-quality and fast preparation to more than 70,000 veterinary customers through its newly expanded network of nationally licensed and accredited pharmacies exclusively dedicated to animal health.

According to the release,¹ the merger will combine Wedgewood Pharmacy’s custom compounding pharmacy compounding services with Blue Rabbits veterinary prescription management technology. It will also create a team’s solely dedicated to equine health as well as exotic animal care, wildlife, and zoo services.

The merger also adds multiple small-animal dispensing locations in California, North Carolina Kentucky, New Jersey, Arizona, and more, all of which will be led by Joseph Costa, president of the Compounding Division.¹
