Part 1 – Times They Are A Changing

The first part of this session will give an overview of the global veterinary market focusing on the UK and US which are both currently stricken by recession. It is the presenter's belief that we are in for a very hard few years as vets and we are no longer a recession proof business.

Part 2 – What is performance management? (And how can it help your practice survive and thrive in these difficult times?)

The subject of management will be explored from the perspective of a new manager, highlighting some of the common pitfalls that veterinary managers make. Delegates will also get some management tips from the trenches that can be applied to their own practices.

Part 3 – Dr Nicol will bring some short real life examples from his career which will bring to life some of the day to day management techniques used to deliver real value in practice.

     3. Performance management in a struggling branch clinic.
